    Should Table VIIIs be required every year, or only every 2 years as prescribed by National Registry? Why did you choose your answer?

    I personally think they should be at least semi-annual. They need to be more then a check the block validation also. Is called practicing medicine for a reason as it’s an ever changing profession. Many treatments and medications we provided for our patients over the last 20 years turned out to be doing more harm then good in the long run. The Army as an organization is not great across the conventional force on proficiency over currency. Our medics and providers across most of the conventional force are not on par with our civilian counterparts. This organization cares more about who’s “current” and has the CEUs for recertification then they do about actual proficiency. They only way to stay proficient is constant and meaningful patient contact as well as formal didactic education. #illclimboffmysoapbox
