The Center for Military Readiness just released a policy analysis titled “Biden Pentagon Quietly Expands Woke Transgender Policies in the Military.” While the document focuses primarily on transgender indoctrination, the Pentagon’s efforts to pervert the very purpose of the military’s existence, by adopting woke distortions of reality, has crept into nearly every facet of our lives.
The Department of Defense (DOD) has a BIG problem with sexual harassment and assault. One of the biggest focal points of training in every branch within the DOD revolves around education regarding these issues. The Army has a program called SHARP (Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention) which is mandatory, regular training for all soldiers. While this training has historically focused on educating people on the “do’s and don’ts” of what is appropriate in the workplace, or what consent means, it’s now been harnessed as yet another vehicle to deliver woke, progressive viewpoints.
The date of the training is April 4, 2021, so it’s clearly been in circulation for a couple of years. I was shocked when I saw it because I’d never seen it before (a lot of SHARP training is conducted in group sessions where an instructor teaches a room of people), but also because it was so graphic.
Though I’d anticipate the defense for the graphic nature of these visuals to be something along the lines of “we can’t sugar coat the reality of the world we’re in” and “they’re soldiers and adults; they can handle it,” these images and “conversations” between the illustrated people within strike me as some sort of satirical, gay porn. I literally did a double take then laughed out loud. (I might have uttered an expletive or two in continued shock at the absurdity of what I was looking at.)
There’s an underlying perverseness to these illustrations (which come with audio as well) that goes beyond the “assault” depicted within. The second caption of the above picture says, “Blair cradles SGT Yang’s face, kissing her without waiting for an answer.” The language is specific, almost as if the Army reached out to Penthouse Letters and asked them if they had any writers who were bored and wanted to bang out some fan fiction for their naughty, online training. The third caption ends with Blair grabbing SGT Yang’s buttocks which triggers a reflex from her.
If the smutty romance novel didn’t do it for you, then let’s just steer the ship completely off course and have a conversation about a guy identifying as non-binary with the random, “bigoted” question of whether it bothers him that his last name implies he’s a dude. This is quite clearly a vessel for indoctrination and has nothing to do with harassment and assault (though they’ll try to make the argument that someone not identifying as a male or female is somehow need for you to be trained on not being a hateful bigot so you don’t hurt their feelings).
I am, and always have been, an enormous advocate for the Army’s SHARP program. While imperfect, it’s given victims the ability to get help and talk to someone they can trust in a legally binding environment. However, whatever this is completely misses the mark. This training reeks of self gratifying porn drawn on the inside of a port-a-potty wall with a sharpie. When it’s done being perverse, it takes off into the ether on a coddling session for those with psychological issues. The Army needs to get back to focusing on reality and providing care for those who have been hurt. This ain’t it.
