A Fort Benning Medical Surgical Nurse was arrested for child porn charges last Friday according to WTVM news. Per the GBI Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes (CEACC) Unit, “two Muscogee County men have been arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual exploitation of children.”
Kevin Perry is a civilian nurse who was previously arrested on drug charges and allowed to continue working at Fort Benning’s Martin Army Community Hospital according to our source.
Perry had access to pediatric patients at the hospital. Children age ten years and older are seen without the supervision of a parent in Army hospitals, which means he may have had unsupervised access to minors.
Perry’s government computer was confiscated during the investigation. According to WTVM, officials charged Perry with two counts of sexual exploitation of children and Hovey with six counts.
