I hate to break the news to you, but if you went to the PX Pharmacy on JBLM (Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington) for a flu vaccine recently, you very well may have been given the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine instead.
A vaccine site at the pharmacy on JBLM attempted to give flu and covid shots at the same time, and according to our sources, 110 people are going to get a phone call tomorrow letting them know the soldiers administering the vaccines zigged when they should have zagged and gave the wrong vaccine.
Apparently JBLM is in the habit of crossing their vaccination wires. The same thing happened at the hospital on post with booster doses. But hey, you know what they say; if you’re going to do something wrong, do it more wrong than anyone! Actually, I’m pretty sure that’s not a real saying. Nevermind; it’s probably best you take sharp things away from soldiers unless you want them to kill the person they’re pointing it at.
